DID Dissociative Identity Disorder/ Multiple Personalities, Alters, Fragments, Jesus, and the 5 Fold Ministries
It is going to be very important for the body, especially those in the five fold, to really understand alters and how they work, in order to help the millions who are fractured.
What is an alter and how did it get there?
First there are different types of fractures that can create DID from having crappy parents to Satanic Ritual Abuse or SRA. An example would be a child who had a severe traumatic experience, often of a sexual nature, that they would not be able to withstand in the natural. So what our good and kind Papa does is allow a piece of their soul to fragment or fracture off, until a time Jesus can heal them. The fracture or Alter personality carries the memory so the core person can function. 
Because this can happen, the enemy has learned how to purposefully cause the fracturing off of souls through ritual torture or SRA.
What happens with the soul piece that fractures off? Well, for one thing it receives its own free will, but it still shares the soul of the core person. The fractured piece literally becomes like its own person, who can be helpful,or a hinderance, and is called an alter personality (alter for short). In certain circumstances, depending on the depth of horror they are going through, the alters themselves can be further shattered and have fragments or slivers broken off of themselves, so they become the main fragment alter with their own fragments. There can be just a few alters and fragments, to literally thousands of them.
Remember alters are still the person. Alters are not something that need to be cut away like a piece of fat from a steak. Each alter is very valuable and needs love. ?. Let me also emphatically state alters ARE NOT demons or demonic and something to be cast out.
“Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded,” James 4:8 NIV. The Greek word for double-minded is “dipsuchos.” When you look up the extended meaning of “dipsuchos,” you will find that it literally means “vacillating” and it also means “two-souled,” “double-souled,” or “split-souled.” It comes from a prefix of “dis” meaning twice and “psuche” meaning soul.
“THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound, [Rom. 10:15.]” Isaiah 61:1 AMP
Part of the disconnect between the church and the idea of alters is the common belief in the church that these splits are something demonic, and that is simply not the case. Yes, many alters can be oppressed, and even possessed, but just as anyone can receive deliverance and salvation, so can they. BUT not all alters are demonically controlled; some are just really, really angry at what happened to them, and they need Jesus.
When you introduce an alter to Jesus and they give their heart to Him, He may allow the alter to stay if He feels they will be a help to the person from whom they fractured. Often these alters are able to go back and forth to heaven at will, and become expert warriors to help the person they fractured from. However, from everything I have learned from pioneers in this field and my own experience with dozens of people with alters, Jesus usually keeps the good majority of alters in heaven, and some he integrates back (slips back into place), but they always maintain their identity. They do not just disappear, and they are not forgotten.
